GGC Mixed Foursomes Open 2021 Rules

The competition will be open to persons who are members of recognised Golf Clubs and who have passed their 18th birthday.

Partnerships will be allowed 50% of their combined handicaps, with half shots rounded up. Strokes will be taken as indicated on the score card.
Stableford scoring applies.

The number of prizes awarded will be based on the number of entries. In the event of a tie for any prize the winner thereof shall be determined by reference to the best inward half, the best last 6 holes, the best last 3 holes and thereafter as the Committee may decide.

The Entry Fee will be £50 per partnership. There will be no sweepstake and no scratch prizes.

Online entries will close on Sunday 6th June 2021 and all entries received by that date will be entered into a draw and no pre-arranged pairings will be considered. All applicants will be notified of their starting time. Please note we are unable to refund entry fees or accommodate starting time change requests once the draw has been made.

Play will commence at the earliest 8.00am and the latest starting time will be 2.30pm.

Gentlemen will drive from the 1st tee. Gents play from white tee, Ladies from red.

Catering is available from 7.30am in Members’ Clubhouse.

Dress code throughout the Clubhouse is smart casual.

It is not intended to hold a formal prize presentation; all vouchers will be forwarded to recipients the week following the competition.
